As adventure travelers, we loved the convenient location of the hostel, just a 15-minute walk from the Mt. Fuji station. This made it easy for us to catch a bus to the Mt. Fuji Yoshida trailhead. The twin room we booked was spacious and comfortable, providing us with a great base for our hike. The hostel also offers a breakfast service, although we didn't opt for it. The common area had a relaxed atmosphere and was a great place to unwind after a long day of hiking. Additionally, the host was incredibly helpful, offering guidance and assistance throughout our stay.
Felt free to seek any assistance, nothing to complain about.

As a solo traveler, I loved the convenience of being just a 15-minute walk from the Mt Fuji station. the location made it easy for me to catch the bus to the Mt Fuji Yoshida trailhead. It was much better than taking the crowded shuttle from Kawaguchiko. the twin room I booked was perfect for me, and the entire place was clean and tidy. the host was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations and assisting with trip planning. Plus, he even drove me to the Kawaguchiko bus station, making my travels much easier. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.
Felt cared for, nothing too much trouble.

This hostel has the most adorable and relaxed atmosphere. It's tucked away in the countryside, only a short walk from the train station. The small number of guests and their respectful behavior made me feel right at home. The lockers in the dorm room provided security, and the showers and bathrooms were sparkling clean. The host, Hiro, was a lifesaver with his impeccable English and helpfulness. From the moment I arrived, he showed me around and made me feel like family. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area. this hostel is a hidden gem with everything you need for a comfortable stay - good showers, comfy beds, kitchen access, and a cozy shared living room. The home stay experience was fantastic, and the breakfast was a must-do. I was able to store my luggage while exploring and had a fantastic time meeting other amazing guests. The whole experience was truly mind-blowing.

Stayed in a renovated mix-decorated home with a projector and free coffee. Breakfast was Asian. Perfect choice for a stay in Fujikawaguchiko.
Just loved walking forever to get anywhere, and the unreliable buses were a bonus. Can't wait for my next marathon!

The service is friendly and accommodating, with the host going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The owner was really nice and welcoming. The old house had a cozy and rustic charm that I loved. The powerful heaters kept me warm even in the cold weather. I enjoyed the peace and quiet as I was the only guest during my stay. The renovated house had a homey vibe and not too many rooms, so it wasn't overcrowded. I appreciated having two shower rooms, so I didn't have to wait long to shower. The electric sockets and lighting near every bed were convenient.
The mattress on the upper bunk bed in the dormitory room was a bit thin. It was a bit hard to find the entrance of the hotel as the sign wasn't very visible.

My one night stay at a hidden gem in Fujiyoshida was paradise. The location was convenient, with easy access to Mt Fuji station and nearby attractions. The dorms and social area were cozy and inviting, creating a charming and calming atmosphere. The host, Hiro-san, was friendly and helpful, even accommodating our late check-in. The breakfast he prepared was one of the best I've ever had in Japan. The cleanliness of the place, considering it is managed by one person, was excellent. I especially enjoyed the herb tea that helped me sleep soundly. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in the area.
